The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, demons, and dark forces growing in strength within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of the new season are included.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the initial group of heroes who will split off from the main group to embark on their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the team understands precisely where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, assaulting the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, north of Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each member has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could help the group access locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character pledged a life debt to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by the family.

This results in them few options but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.
